Peak Duo is a piano/violin duo made up of Drs. Amanda Setlik Wilson and Mei Mey Segura. We formed our duo in 2015 when we were both graduate students and teaching at the Center for Musical Arts in Lafayette. We became fast friends, and realized very quickly that our musical energy meshed very well together.
An exciting moment for us was performing the world premiere of a piece we commissioned from composer Emma Lou Diemer. We commissioned the piece, titled “Variations on ‘Our Triangle'” to perform at the 2017 Mu Phi Epsilon International Convention.
Peak Duo is adventurous and versatile when it comes to musical styles and events. We are currently booking parties, corporate events, etc., and taking recording commissions. Contact us about performing at your next event.
